Sorry about all the "tests" (if you saw them, even.)  For whatever reason, I never noticed that there is an RSS feed for everyone's journals.  Honestly, I love RSS feeds because I like getting notification of new stuff without having to constantly check the actual site.
The thing is, I started to worry about what MY feed showed.  Can OW find me?  I have copied stuff from here onto my "real" blog and vice versa.  Cross checking would easily match the two.  Plus, what if I write an entry for "just friends" about something going on here with DS - can ANYONE just read it via the RSS feed?
My profile is supposed to be DS members only, so theoretically, the RSS feed couldn't be found by search engines unless someone linked to the RSS feed outside of DS.  But what about people ON DS? Can they just click the RSS feed and see the private and semi-private entries?
Here's what I discovered: only public entries show up on the RSS.  Friends Only entries don't show up on the RSS but do now come through via email, if you are subscribed via email.  (That wasn't always  the case.)  Private entries seem to stay entirely private.  Even if I logout, I can still see the RSS feed of public entries, so they are not at all protected if anyone outside of DS ever linked to them. Seems good enough for me since nothing will ever be perfect.
I guess it shouldn't matter, but I want this to be ONE thing OW won't ever take from me.  Maybe that's stupid, but there it is.

Ok well I don\'t know what rss feed is but heres what I got. 4 email notifications that allora wrote journal entries. First 2 showed the line \"this is a test about rss feed\"

When I opened the email to finish reading journal it was marked private both times and I couldn\'t read. This one I could. Haven\'t checked 4th.

I did get emails about the private ones entries too. It gave the little preview of what you wrote, but when I clicked the \"more\" button it said it was a private entry.

There was one private and one public that were \"tests\" - both were deleted, which is why you couldn\'t read them. They\'re not private, they just don\'t exist anymore. :)

Sorry about the spammity-spam email. I just got paranoid and wanted to see what went where and if I should do a mass delete. Looks like I\'m safe - for now, at least.
