Update

Hi, my friends, I haven't been online for ages.  In fact, my fingernails have grown so long that I can't type easily.  Note that the fingernails aren't very long, but I usually rip them off for some nervous reason or other.  Since I've been mostly asleep for the last two weeks, I haven't had a single thing (like traffic or being late some place) to make me that kind of nervous. I'm sitting up, sitting at the computer.  That is a big deal for me.  I have become very, very bad at sitting up.  That's another reason I haven't checked in recently.  When I sit or stand, I get very light headed and nauseated.  When I'm hungry (even lying down) I get nauseated.  And after I eat, after the nausea has subsided, my stomach hurts.  I've been the queen of gas and all the pain it produces.  I forgot what a lousy gastrointestinal tract I have.  I'm focusing my energy on having the twins produce better gastrointestinal cells.  Maybe they'll take after their dad. My worry over the health of the babies has gone away a little.  I'm starting to get used to the idea of being pregnant.  Having twins, I still haven't really gotten my head around that one.  In my wildest fantasies, which I guess I'm trying not to get my hopes up about, I'm sitting at the dining room table with James and two toddlers.  The four of us.  Can you imagine?  It's a dream come true? Before I pass out here and have to go back and lie down, I want to wish my dear friend Ashley a safe and fun surgery tomorrow on her uterine polyps.  Ashley, I'm channeling all the Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger vibes ("Paul" and "Lips") to get you through it unevenfully.  I also want to wish MrsStacy a happy Friday (I hope I'm back on line before then) -- the day she and her egg donor go in for monitoring.  Woo-hoo!  Good things are a brewing. Like some vomit. Love, Kay
