The doorbell woke me up today and when I rushed downstairs in my nightgown, my new task master was sitting on the doorstep: the box of medicine. On Tuesday we start IVF in earnest. Monday night the home health care person comes to teach us how to inject me. Or "shoot" me, as I prefer to call it. Then Tuesday the first Lupron shot will start it all. In the meantime, part of the box of medicine is hiding under the dining room table. The rest of it, which had to be refrigerated, is taking up the better part of my fridge. Among other things, I saw hypodermic needles, my very own BIO-HAZARD CONTAINER!!!, and the vaginal suppositories. I hope we don't get them mixed up with white baby carrots and eat them. I mean, what's with storing non-food items in the fridge? It's lunch time!

Yehhh! How exciting! I receive my \"box of hope\" as I like to call it tomorrow. I will start my shots next week for my mock EEP. You\'ll have to tell me how your Lupron shots are. I\'m scared. Have only done sub-Q up until now. I think my progest. comes in the form of a pill...I hope. We\'ll see tomorrow. Good luck and try not to get the meds mixed up with the carrots. Eeeeewww!

Yippey for you:) Let the fun begin. Actually it\'s not all that bad. I have a hard time with the actual stick part but after that it\'s all fun and games. I feel so special that I have my very own sharps container at home. It\'s kind of funny actually. My family came to visit this weekend and they were all laughing at me. I hope everything goes well. Keep me posted.
