~ 2 Year Update ~
Its been a little over two years since my diagnosis of diverticulosis.
I have managed really well, but admit that there are noticeable differences when I overeat, lack water/hydration or excercise.
I was reminded of my attack when I ate some grilled white corn this past week.
Ohh the pain! I really and truly miss eating corn BUT I know not to eat it!! I felt pain and twinges, and feared that I would possiby infect again. (I didn't) The fear alone was enough for remind myself to push forward and let those things go!
I eat pleanty of fiber still and drink a lot of water. Probiotics are part of my morning vitamin. I do not drink alcohol at all. No desire for it either. Water with lemon feels great.
I have to watch myself with any fried foods -upsets my stomach overall.
I continue to stretch my belly and organs.
My anxiety level is almost gone :) That helps tremendously.
I hace made these changes over the course of two years and admit that I never thought I could be my old-better self again.
Happy.
