2 years
Today it's been 2 years since I lost my Vinnie. I still miss him and love him a lot. Been crying a lot today. I not only miss him I miss the life I used to have, I miss having my own home. I hate living where I am now. I can't find a job or win any money. My luck has been gone for 2 yrs now. I keep praying for the Lord to help me but so far I hear or see nothing. My pastor says you may not feel him but He is there. So if He is then He knows how it is with me. I wonder why nothing is happening.
There really isn't anyone to talk to about my feelings. So I hug my cat and talk to her and the Lord. I may go for a drive out in the country. Go visit my parents graves. (Vinnie ashes are in my bedroom) I talk to him too. I just feel the need to get out of here for awhile.
Thanks to anyone who reads this and understands.

My heart goes out to you. Sending hugs with love. I think you will feel better if you go for that ride. Hang in there. Things will get better. I know it is hard waiting. You aren\'t alone my friend.
Thanks Lori, I know I\'m not the only one feeling like this. My pen pal in IA just lost her husband. I pray all the time that something good will happen.
Hope you are doing well?
Hugs!!
Vinlin....I wish for you peace. Loss is so painful and I never really know what to say. So what I will say here,is I am so sorry for the loss of your guy. I know his memory lives on always in your heart, that when it is time you two will be together and see each other again.I hope that with time, your don\'t hurt so badly. HUGS for you and for your kitty. Take good care xoxo
Thanks Knee, like my aunt says it becomes bearable but it\'s still there. It\' s something you never forget. Life goes on but I feel like mine has stopped cause nothing happens. Maybe soon...
Hugs!!
i hope you feel better, its very hard to lose someone you are close to and who is a part of your life. in six years you can do a reverse purchase and receive social security, you can return to florida if you choose and have a part of your old life back. that is worse case scenario. houston, texas they claim has 200 percent MORE jobs than they did before the recession. if you haven\'t finished off college, a way to get there with money in the bank is to go to college there and receive student loans and grants and take it easy that way. sounds like you\'d be sure to get work anyway. just an idea. you\'d be where its warm and county colleges or university of houston which is huge are easy options. god\'s blessings to you lin. xxoo
I would feel silly going back to school at my age. I thought about taking a online course but I don\'t know what. Don\'t want to do something that takes years to do. In about 31/2 yrs I can get some of Vinnie\'s SS (when I turn 60) meanwhile I keep looking for a job....
over half of the people in school (OVER HALF) are non-traditional students of all ages. the days of young people in school only have been non-existant since the 80\'s. i know in the 90\'s the average age of a person getting a phd was 34. if you attend school in the evening, EVERYONE is older. everyone is working or has worked. in medical majors, security schools, or insurance schools EVERYONE is older and young people are the minority. you have lots of options.
if you go to insurance school to sell car insurance, its a 3 month course. xxoo
