2 new family members and a visitor

Saturday i unexpectadly took in 2 kittens. they were rescued by this girl because their momma kitty and sis had been hit by a car. she couldn't care for the other siblings because the sis kitty is paralyzed from being hit and it requirs a lot of her attn and time for care. the other sibling had been adopted by other people and all that remained was the 2 brother kittens. so, i told her i will take them. Matthew and i named em Miko and Spike. they are 2 lbs each. we kept them seperate from Silver who is now 15lbs....he was 17 lbs before his surgery a few months ago and then we had trouble getting him to eat so he dropped all the way down to 14 lbs. and because of his LARGE bone size, the weight drop was dangerous for him, we tried getting him to eat all diff foods but he is only alowed prescription foods for life, so it was a battle. but now his weight is up to 15 lbs and 9 ounces i think, which is still pretty big. Monday evening i took the little kittens to their 1st vet visit for shots, deworming, and defleaing. the vet said to give em 24 hrs before letting them hang out with Silver.  Tuesday i intorduced the kitties to Silver.... he tried to play with them and started to chase em, but the kittens are only a fraction of his size, so when they saw this HUGE thumping cat coming right at em, they froze in place scared! they didn't know what to do with him, just that they didn't wanna get pulverized by a LARGE moving object! lol! it was so funny watching the cats! oh gosh... i felt a flare coming on that day (because i did way too much Monday) but those kitties had me crackin up!!! mom loves the kitties and so does Matthew.... Miko is the type that wants attn ALL the time and follows you around meowing "hugs? hugs? hugs please!" his brother Spike is laid back, but when he sees Miko getting hugged, he wants hugged too! lol Tuesday evening I picked up Elaine from the air port. she flew in fromTexas to visit us again... she's so fun! she's the "bridge" between mom and i cuz like me, she has FMS and like mom, she has bipolar. crazy huh? but we have a ball with her when she comes to visit! she told us that she's gonna make it an annual thing now to come fly over and next year she wants to go to Maui with mom and I for a few days, then come back here. she aslo loves the new "guest room"! HA HAA! good thing Ricky is gone. another plus is she loves kittens too, so when she got introduced to Miko and Spike, was carrying them everywhere hugging em. lol. last week for the guest room i bought a 3 drawer dresser for 10 bucks at a garage sale and then filled in some dents and nicks in it, sanded it, then painted it white. i also painted the handles on it gold. it looks pretty! and matches the room. in other news... Matthew has been pretty depressed lately. he's been angerier than usual and snaps at me a lot. although he denies snapping at me. i have anger issues too, so 2 bad tempers in one room = fights. not good. please pray for him.  well... that's all folks! thanks for being awesome friends! you ROCK!  ADD ON: MONDAY WAS MOM'S BIRTHDAY! SHE'S 61 NOW AND HAS SURVIVED THE CRAZIEST CRAP IN LIFE! SHE SHOULD BE PROUD! MATTHEW GOT HER A SURPRISE BDAY PRESENT WHICH IS A BRAND NEW CELL PHONE! I PITCHED IN FOR IT TOO. SONNIE GOT HER A FOOT REST AND I TOOK HER MEMOIRS TO GET BINDED AT KINKOS. SORRY I FORGOT TO INCLUDE THIS, MOM. I WAS TIRED WHEN I WROTE THIS.
