2 More Days until Christmas!
Last night my mom and I went shopping at Walmart and got some Christmas presents for us. I'm getting socks for Christmas. I need them because I'm running out of socks, and they had some pretty ones that were on sale. I wrapped the gifts today, and that was a mess. I don't know how to wrap well, and these were squishy packages of socks and undies for everyone. Still, I got them wrapped- as funny as they look. Oh well. This is why I don't normally wrap presents, I get a bag and put them in there. It's much easier that way. I'm listening to rock music, not exactly Christmas music, but oh well. I only have one Christmas song on my playlist and that's from the Nutcracker. I just listened to that song about a week ago, so it's not going to turn up again for a while. I have about 3,000 songs on my playlist. I know it's a lot, but it's nice to have a lot of music. I have a ton of CD's, but I prefer to burn them to my computer and use them in a playlist since you can change artists easily. I would be able to do that kinda with a CD exchanger, but I prefer having a ton of music at my hands. Now I'm listening to Queen. I love music and try and get as much of it as I can legally.
Today I didn't go for my walk, so I have to make up for it tomorrow. I hope I have time. I wasn't keeping track of time, even though I have that watch that Geo gave me. I was busy helping Joy in the kitchen and going through my Google Reader RSS feeds. I hadn't checked them in a while, so there was a ton of stuff for me to go through. I didn't even read all of them, since I didn't have enough time, but still I got through the stuff I wanted to read. I have a bunch of feeds, so I get various news from different places. That, and my comics. I love reading comics, so I have a feed for comics as well. I have Dilbert, Questionable Content, Something Positive, and more. I also have a feed from Fail Blog and other Cheeseburger sites. I just need something to get me to laugh. It's good to have a sense of humor, and I try and read funny things to make me laugh and be happy. I feel bad that I didn't go for my walk today, but I will just have to do a long walk tomorrow and Sunday. That is, if I feel up to it. I don't know how I'm going to feel tomorrow. I got some sleep last night, but it wasn't enough I don't think. I got like 9 hours of sleep.
I may have just gotten 9 hours of sleep, but it was good sleep. I'm still kinda tired, but not as tired as I was last night. That and I drank coffee today. I love coffee, and everyone in this house drinks it. I haven't been drinking my water since their tap water tastes like crap and I don't like drinking out of the plastic bottles that you just throw away. I feel like I'm contributing to the waste going on. I would prefer to use a gallon bottle, since then you know that it's not going to be 24 bottles instead. Anyway, sleep was good last night. I didn't have any dreams that I can remember. I know I woke up around 6:30am and I tried to fall back asleep but couldn't right away. I fell back asleep around 7:30 and slept until 9:30. I went to bed around 11pm last night, so I got some decent sleep.
My mom's husband and I went to the Verizon store to try and get me an upgraded phone, but we had no luck. I'm not due on for a new phone until early February, a couple days after my birthday. I want a phone with a keyboard so I can text easily. I have another phone that I could use, but it's battery is horrible. I would need to buy a new battery, and right now I can't afford that. I'm trying to save as much money as I can for my trip to LA. My mom's husband was nice enough to get me a new charger for my phone since I left mine at home. It was one of those things that I was planning on packing at the last minute and just forgot about it. It's still sitting on the dining room table where I left it as I was packing. I knew I was going to forget something, luckily it was something small.
Food today was okay... I'm low on calories according to my food tracker on Spark People.com but I had a bunch of greasy things, so I know I'm higher in calories than that tracker says. I had fried chicken with gravy and rice for dinner. Lunch was a bit of a roast beef sub and celery with ranch dressing, and breakfast was cottage cheese and pineapple. I just haven't been that hungry today, I'm eating more out of boredom or easy access. I'm not stressed out or anything, so stress has been low today. Mood is good.. I had another nice day to relax. I need to get out there and walk tomorrow, so I can make my monthly minutes of exercise. Oh well, we will see what happens!

I am so glad you are enjoying your vacation! I am not a good gift wrapper either and I never use bows.
Yes - tomorrow a walk!
