2 Days Till our Anniversary!

Tonight Geo and I went out for our anniversary dinner (our ani is on Sunday) and so we went to Red Lobster. I ate well (my entire calories for the day, but still better than in one meal than in one entree alone) and didn't feel deprived of anything at all. I kinda wanted the shrimp and scallop Alfredo, but I was happy with the garlic and herb shrimp and chicken. I did have 3 biscuits, which is more than I planned, but I felt full and had food left over on my plate that I didn't eat. I didn't even bother taking it home like I always do (it was just the potatoes anyway) I just let them take it- a new step for me! I'm a member of the Clean Plate Club, so sending a dish back with food on it was hard, but it's good. I ate 1,400 or so calories for dinner- but that's how much was in the Alfredo alone I wanted, so I think I came out well.
I also did my C25K Week 2, Day 3 today- 2 miles. I felt good doing it... it was nice and coolish (mid 80's) and the breeze was nice. It was about to rain, so the sun wasn't shining on me very hard. I just listened to my music and walked, feeling happy. I keep wanting to skip ahead on the C25K training program but I have to stick to how it's done because I'm prone to injury and so I should be taking it slow. I need to listen to the people who designed it, knowing that they don't want me to push myself too fast. It's designed for people like me who are not in good shape and need some time to rest and heal.
So Sunday is Geo and I's 6 year anniversary. I was saying before I can't believe it, but at the same time it feels like forever. I can't tell you all the things he has helped me overcome, and stood by my side when any sane person would leave. I'm glad he's a bit crazy too, so he can relate to me and not freak out as much when I get depressed or manic. I've told him all these crazy things in insecurity, trying to get him to leave me and he won't. He fights to stay with me, even if I'm fighting (without a reason) to leave him. I don't know any other person who would put up with that sort of crap from anyone that they don't have to. He's such a good man, I'm lucky. My main complaints are that he doesn't take care of himself and I feel sometimes that means he doesn't respect me somehow. But I love him, and he loves me and we are going to do what we need to do to stay together.
Today I just feel good. Tired, but good. The walk was nice, dinner was nice, and therapy went good. My therapist and I talked a bunch, mostly about random stuff, but it's good because we also focused a bit on the things we need to, and had some lighter stuff at the end. I also met this girl waiting for the bus, Jackie, who is really nice. I'm probably going to call her tomorrow and see if she wants to hang out or something. I need to get out, and it would be good to have a friend who lives close by that I can hang out with. I want to get to know her better before I go over her house- she doesn't seem like the serial killer type, but you should be careful with people when you first meet them.
Stress- I felt a bit of stress today waiting on Geo's dad to come pick us up so we could go out to dinner, but that was mostly because we wanted to get out early so we could go to the store. We managed to get everything done. I did have a bit of stress waiting at the restaurant, but it went away once we got our table and food. Sleep- I got about 9 hours, took some klonopin last night to get to sleep but managed to sleep good. Food and mood I talked about above.

You seem happier :D Glad you enjoyed the anniversary dinner. Geo sounds like a great guy. I\'ve never heard of this C25K thing, I think I want to look it up.
