2 days past my 3 month diagnosis 'anniversary'
Can't believe it was 3 months ago (on May 19th) that I went into the ER to sidestep my cardiologist, who 'wasn't sure he could justify an echocardiogram to the insurance company' due to my excellent physicial health otherwise. Glad I listened to my wife that day. ER doc ordered a CT Angiogram after watching my oxygen saturation level go from 80 to 94 with the addition of oxygen. After they wheeled me back in he told me that I had extensive bilateral PE's in both lungs, a partially collapsed right middle lobe, and DVT's in both legs, with the left leg occluded.
I am not 'back to normal' by any means, but I am thankful for each day the Lord gives me to be there for my family.
