2 days in a row at the Y!

Food was still bad yesterday.  But I got to the Y yesterday and today.  Yesterday, 35 minutes on the treadmill, 25 mins upper body weights, 5 min stretch.  2.36 miles.  Today, 40 mins on the treadmill, 25 mins of lower body weights, 5 min stretch.  2.34 miles.  I was really tired on that treadmill this morning.  So I am at 31 times at the Y for this year.  My DS goal is 100x by end of year, but that only was started a few weeks ago.  My Y goal is 150 times for the year so I can get the coveted t shirt!  I am really going to try!
Ate some oatmeal this morning.  That should help.  Then some fruit and yogurt I think for lunch.  Night time is still a huge problem.  Going to have to figure out what is going on in my brain.  It is like, I sit and watch tv and want to eat.  I know I am not hungry.  Sometimes, I am even uncomfortably full!  Yet I have food on the brain!  So I have to work on that this week.  I think this next week's goal is just try to get myself out of the habit of eating while watching tv.  Water was better yesterday, but it typically is when I get in my exercise.  I am also sucking down a lot of decaf no sugar iced tea, homemade.
Still stressing and struggling at work.  Another employee quit.  He will be replaced, but still....  Met with one of my former co-workers yesterday who is now VP at a public adjuster firm and he is desperate to hire me.  Right now, I can't jump ship.  I don't think the benefits over there would be good, and with Paul self employed and barely making any money (and his health issues), just can't chance it.  And, I don't think he would offer me the money I would want/need.  The advantage is, I would stay local in the Philly area full time, and pretty much be my own boss and do my own thing.  Don't think that on my way home from that meeting, thoughts didn't run through my head!  Got "cut off" of new claims' and yet still got three new ones this week.  Ugh!  Just can't seem to get caught up, let alone get ahead.
Good news:  My birthday is Sunday.  Paul is going to buy me a new laptop!  My PC is acting freaky and making funny noises and it already conked on me once.  I am hoping to upgrade my cell phone to a blackberry and upgrade my service to include texting and internet.  I am looking into Bluetooth on the laptop since we do not have WiFi in the house.  This will make me mobile!  Woo Hoo!  Anyway, that is my hopes.

I admire your persistence. I\'m always reading that you went to the Y, etc. You are so good at this! I had to stop exercising in January due to my RE saying studies have shown that for getting pregnant, it\'s best not to raise one\'s heart rate, etc. So I stopped.
It\'s good that you have identified your weakness (night eating) so that you can focus on beating it.
Well, Happy Birthday! Hope you get all the goodies you want! I have a blackberry and it changed my life for work.

You are so strong...I know how hard it is to be the backbone of the family income but I am seeing it everywhere. Seems easier for women to find jobs these days than men...statistically speaking. I guess with Paul having health issues it is even harder.
You are doing GREAT with your YMCA goal! Go Yvette!
Have a WONDERFUL birthday girly!
Love ya!

Great job for getting to the Y, u did it!!! I have a hard time with food but I\'m not watching tv, I used to do that yrs ago and just try to stay busy most of the time and no matter what I\'m doing and hubby working I\'m turning to food for comfort. I did so well the first half of the year while training for the half marathon, now it\'s over and back to my old ways. I need to kick back into high gear, all or nothing kinda to get me moving! I am so proud of you and you inspire me - we don\'t give up!!! I sure hoope you get all you want for your birthday, you deserve it. Maybe you can talk to your old co-worker and see what they would offer. Less stress would help...... Hope it all works out either way, that\'s tough to decide! Your such a hard worker, I\'m sure they are glad you are sticking around. Tough stressful job! Hope David and Paul do something special for you! Have a great birthday weekend!!!!

Happy birthday! Great effort on getting to the Y and getting all that great exercising done! I miss living close to all the good stuff in the cities but still would not go back.
It must be a boost in your self esteem to be wanted by your former co-worker. Maybe you could work it out somehow!
Have a super weekend!
