2 and a half months
It's been about 2 and half months since Tommy passed.
And it sure isn't getting easier. It keeps hitting me over and over
"I'm not going to see him again" and I start crying. Then I start to think
I don't think I have accepted he is gone. I know I have a hundred things to tell him
And I feel like I'm waiting on him to get 'back home' so
I can tell him everything he has missed :(

It hasn\'t even been a month yet for me, yet in some ways it seems like so long ago, Vic is beginning to seem more like a memory and the reality of what once was, is becoming more distant, yet there are many times throughout the day when I miss him so much I can\'t see myself living without him. When that happens I refocus my thoughts and realize that God is still with me and Vic is with HIm and I will see him again and I just have to trust God and take it day by day. I remain open to God\'s leading and just keep trusting that He will get me through it provide for me whatever I need. Tonight I had dinner with friends, even though sometimes I don\'t feel like going out, I understand I need to, it was nice to get out and talk and feel alive. It\'s hard sometimes but it does help to get out, of course the coming home part is always the most difficult part of going out. :-(.
