2/6/12 TTC Update
So I am currently only CD12. Idk what my temp is cause I didn't not sleep long enough last night. I woke up every 2 hours thinking my boyfriend was going to walk in any minute and then I realized what had happened was for real and not a dream.
I worked yesterday from 2-6pm. When I got off, I called up my BF and asked what he wanted for supper. He told me he was at his friend's house and that he wanted hot wings. So I went and bought the food and brought it home. He wasn't here still. I usually blow up his phone, but for one time I thought to myself that I wouldn't bother him. After 10pm rolled around, I assumed that he would be in at any minute and I actually heard his truck drive by the house. But his truck never came back. I got a call on my cell at 10:33pm. It was a police officer saying he has arrested my boyfriend for DUI. My heart fell out of my chest. I started crying and I headed out to the street where he had him pulled over. I never thought I would see him sitting in the back of a police car. I told him after this, it's over. He started crying and of course I felt bad for him. The police officer wanted me to translate and ask my boyfriend his consent to do a blood alcohol test. My boyfriend was drunk and kept saying just do whatever you want. I also filled out a paper so I could drive his truck back home. He looked at me and told me not to do anything for him, just tell the police that I don't know him and walk away. At this point I was crying so hard. The police told me to calm down.
Pablo's court date is tomorrow at 8:30am. I had the choice to bail him out today, but I think for his own good he should stay in there and sober up and think hard about what he did. Plus, what would be the point of getting him out for 1 day and then after court, they arrest him again? I told Pablo last night before the police took him away in his car, that I would be here for him and I told him I loved him. I do love him. I'm scared what is going to happen next. Right now he is charged with DUI and driving w/o a license. He doesn't have a green card and I was just about ready to apply for one. I'm scared they are going to deport him. It's really sad it had to end up this way. But I told him time and time again that this was bound to happen one day if he didn't control his drinking. Which he had it under control for a while. I just think it's my fault cause I didn't call him. He may have come home sooner or if he would have left a few seconds later than what he did, he wouldn't had come across that police officer. But then it could had been worse, if the police hadn't stopped him, he could had ended up having a wreck or hurting someone. This will be his first offense. He's never had trouble with the police before so I'm hoping they will be more lenient in court. Now I am just thinking to myself... why now? when I start fertility treatments? Is God preventing me from getting pregnant for a reason??? I don't know what to think of this. I wish He would give me an answer :(

Awww I\'m so sorry. I don\'t know what to say - wil pray the situation gets resolved. As hard as it is maybe this will give him the scare he needs not to drink and drive!

I\'m sorry this has happened to you. I will be praying for understanding of what God wants you to do. If you need to talk im here.
i am so sorry. that was really irresponsible of him and i really hope that they wont deport him, but he really needs to be more responsible. i\'m very much against drunk driving, which i am sure no one is a big advocate of, but it is a risk to everyone that he encounters and like you said, maybe it was a good thing they got him off the road.
i can\'t be one to say whether or not this was divine intervention but i would say that this could definitely put a hold on your plans. maybe now is just not the right time? i\'m sorry, there is no way for me to address this without sounding mean or judgmental, and i understand everyone has circumstances beyond what you can see. i don\'t want to judge you guys, but i\'m afraid that he might not be ready for the commitment of a kid and you might end up doing this largely on your own. imagine if you had to deal with this with a child or even explain it to a child. right now just might not be the best time to have a child?
