Had a rough day today. Saw my pdoc yesterday he changed my saphris to a new med fanapt to try to help me with all my rapid cycling. I feel like a ghinea pig experiment trying all these different medicines on me all the time. I really don't know anything about this new medicine Fanapt ... except its only about a year old.
Was very lazy today, slept late.. wanted to go hiking with the hiking group but didn't have the energy. No energy to do much. Seems to be my norm lately.
I forced myself to go out tonite on a date to a comedy club. Cause I get tired of being lazy, but I had a hard time enjoying myself, tried to get my mind off this uncomfortable illness. I am glad I got out of the house. My date was very understanding I told him I wasn't feel well, but I am not contagious.

I hope your med change works out for you!!!! Perhaps you\'ll soon be bursting with energy!! (((((Hugs)))))
i have been treated for bp for 21 years and i can tell you that it most deff is all about tweaking different meds,i have a wonderful cocktail right now:effexor xr,lamitcal, seraquel and meletonin for sleep, this has worked for me the past 4 years.lately life as it is for me right now is the toughest it has ever been but i do not need different meds but what i try to do is accept things as they are instead of changing meds.i do know that any \"normal\" person would be depressed in my situation and their is no majic pill to help that.good luck finding your correct cocktail,it takes time and patience.((hugs))
I haven\'t heard of the new med you\'re on, but I sure do know what it feels like to be a guinea pig! Hopefully it won\'t take long to adjust to the Fanapt, and that it will be just what you need. Good luck!!
