I never thought i'd be writing this. I lost my partner, Lorie, to brain cancer on 1-21-21. I'm sitting here now missing her so badly...I can't hardly stand it.
She was diagnosed on 3-23-20. She had b cell lymphoma and cns of the brain. She barely made it through one dose of chemo. They said the tumor/s had shrunk. She went through 25 round of radiation, only to find that the tumors "shrunk"a little more. Her prognosis was bad. I decided to have her home for Hospice. We had almost a month together before she woke up one morning...and couldn't swallow her food. Her cancer shrunk her esophagus so that eating was a big chore. It was bad. I called 911. She looked at me as she went out the door...that's the last I saw of her.
I am just sick about this whole thing. So many unanswered questions. So little time. I know the answers...but I just don't want to believe she's really gone.
I'll write more as I can. For now, please pray. It's the only way I'm getting by.
Thank you to all my friends.
