1st ultrasound yesterday!

Well everything still seemed ot be ok!  My hcg levels almost 2 weeks ago were in the 48000s, which they said was good for being almost 6 weeks.  Ultrasound yesterday at 7w4d was fine - I saw the heartbeat!  I wouldn't even look at the screen - the OB finally laughed and told me that I could look!  She said that I could come in once a week if it would make me feel better - so I am going back in next week.  I'm very relieved that I won't have to just be waiting and wondering week after week - at least I will know what's happening.  Kind of a weird thing happened when I left the dr.'s office - one of my oldest friends called (we have been friends since we were 3 yrs old) - I hadn't talked to her since we got home from vacation - and she said "I have the funniest feeling that you're pregnant".  I was so stunned - (we aren't telling anyone at least until after the point of my last miscarriage - 12.5 weeks) - I didn't know what to say to her! I think I weasled out of her suggestion probably clumsily, but I also realized that it may be hard to keep this private for as long as I hope to!
