1st Ultrasound!!

We had our first ultrasound this morning. Boy was I nervous. I was so scared of what the measurement would be. Our last pregnancy that ended in miscarriage measured a week earlier and was smaller from the beginning. As soon as they told us everything looked great and that it measured exactly where I should be, that was like music to my ears! We are 6 weeks 3 days and due July 17th!  Doc said my lining was nice and thick and that everything looked great.  We got to see the heartbeat and it was going strong. I can't even describe the joy that went through my heart as I saw that.  It's just so amazing uh!  Even as I look at the pic and all I see is a little peanut, this is our little miracle baby that is growing inside of me.  What an amazing Thanksiving we're going to have!  So much to be thankful for.  God has answered our prayers!  Although today's visit eased my nerves a bit, I still don't think this worry I have will completely go away.  It is reassuring, however, that I will be seeing the doc and getting ultrasounds every 2 weeks for the first trimester, then every 3 to 4 weeks in the second.  I will just keep saying prayers and tell myself that we really do deserve this and that it's our turn.  (I will post the ultrasound pic as soon as I can figure out how to transfer a PDF into a JPEG lol).   Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
