I feel today, as l type a message that might be read, and might not be read,,,,,,, this is a lonely lonely place to be, sitting here alone typing and hoping that someone cares,,, sad .. stupid to think that hoping for a response of any sort will do anything really to make me feel good

Annette, I\'m here , I care and I will always find a way to brighten your day ! I\'ve had PD for 17 yrs and luckily it is progressing very slowly ! I truly believe, that in some cases, progression is directly effected by attitude and exercise! Having Pd is not a death sentence and actually will not make you die ! Although some of the symptoms may create other things that may ! But Ive seen many that have had it for 20 years + and are just shaking along with a healthy life ! Pd will lead you to see beauty you have never seen before , know people you have never known before, make some of the most wonderful people youve ever met and bring you to an enlightenment only through GOD would you have ever seen ! Parkies who have been around a while understand that the loneliness is created by us not letting friends and family share this experience , it is the aloneness that you are referring to that is so hard for us and can only be overcome by support from other parkies ! It is having someone who understands your fears , your struggles and your pain ! That is where the other parkies you meet can help ! You insert yourself into the life you have been given , support others as they support you and you will come to see what Im talking about ! But Annette , here and with other parkies everywhere , you are never alone ! You can beat this thing , if you really try ! Take the time to enjoy the beauty around you , the friends and family in your life and the support you will receive through the parkie community and you will live through this PD stuff!
Always remember the words of PLWP:
Together We can make a difference!
Your friend in PD !

Its all new and scary and you do feel very alone at first but it does get better. I am pretty new to this too as I was only diagnosed in May but the people you meet especially the ones on this site are the most caring, supportive and friendly people you could come across. They really understand and are with you all the way. Having someone send a message or a hug reminds you that you are never alone. I understand exactly how you are feeling, I\'ve been there. Here if you need me , Your friend, TillyRose.
thank you all, was having a downer, but okay now
Just read your journal for today. Glad to see you\'re doing better now. Hang in there - others really care and understand. -Sherri
