Lies
I can't believe your lies -no moreI have been though for yearsBut when those lies escape your lipsI cope by shedding tears
You have my back I've heard you sayTime and time again Yet you ignore the things I sayAnd still I call you friend
I'll still be there That's just my wayAlthough it breaks my heartThat lies persist And trust destroyedUnless you do your part
I wrote this poem about someone who hurt me. And then I let go of the pain and the relationship. A really big break-through for me.
