Ok so I haven't written anything for a while and I want to know what you guys think of some of my writings. I'm thinking about submitting this piece with my application to the the Governor's School for the Arts. I want to go this summer for their creative writing classes. :) I'm dedicating this one to Riana aka xlovelyxlies. Gosh, I'm such a transcendentalist!An Ending to Everything By: Melissa The sunlight peeks through the trees. You can just barely see the outside world. I stand here alone surrounded by nature. I’ve never seen such darkness on a sunny day. The leaves shine like never before. The bark on the trees is dark and bitter. A new shade of green has entered existence. The trunks of the trees are lean and lofty. Shadows overcome me and the earth. This scene is very much like a light at the end of a tunnel. The light gives you something to look forward to. It represents good times in the future; out of the darkness. I want to move towards the light, but I do not dare turn from such beauty. The sight can be quite unbearable because it’s so stunning. It’s exhilarating to see such a serene state of nature the world has to offer. Not many experience a day like this. As I walk out of the woods, I watch the light get brighter and brighter. How one can stand so much light is questionable. There is no answer. Just as I come out of the woods I find myself standing in a peaceful world. A world where you are not judged, there are no unwanted noises of a busy workplace, the stress you contain is gone, and all the hurt is no more. Your intellect is shown.  You’re happy with who you are. You undergo a free spirited feeling. It’s nothing compared to any high one may experience. It’s different for everyone that stands in the same spot as I for they have not experienced or gone through some of the same moments as I. It’s a great sense of knowing nothing, but contentment. I would love to share this world more than anything. I wish all can come to know this world. However dark your woods may be; just keep on walking. There is an ending to everything.
