WOW!

The pipes froze in the ground at my son's place.  My daughter-in-law and granddaughter went to the other grandma's place to shower and do laundry, and my son called asking to use mine last night.   I'm glad he did.   We got a chance to talk.
HE GETS IT!  Last night, he turned to me and said "I'm so glad I got a chance to spend time with Stephanie".   They'd only met for an hour when we'd gone back to Wisconsin to deliver the ashes, but it was a wonderful hour that made a memory that will stick with him the rest of his life.  I'm so glad he can see the blessings...
And he's passing it on, giving comfort to my brother-in-law.   My son sent my brother-in-law a note on Facebook that if he needed to talk to someone, he was there... and my brother-in-law called a short time later.   It wasn't a good death.   The lack of care caused her liver to fail and she'd come out of the coma to end up dealing with all the pain and problems my X went through.  Through the night, she had 6 times where her heart quit and they'd rescussitate.  Her mom just couldn't let go... until my brother-in-law begged her to end the pain....
And again, I see the miracle grow... My son not only got to connect with the family, but also now BELONGS in a way that he's always wanted... and again, through death, the blessings come... in that I see the bond grow between them that both of them have needed for a VERY long time...  Later.
