YES!!!!
I won my battles today! I love it when things fall into place just right!
I walked into my office early this morning so I could be prepared for leaving for the doctor's, and found a message on my answering machine that I needed to contact the corporate manager first thing this morning because she was all set to move forward on the new program. YES! I immediately called her, and before she could get into it, dropped the bombshell about how I had to leave the office for my appointment. The surprise (and a little guilt trip) sucked the aggression right out of her, and the rest of our conversation was great! I got everything I needed within 15 minutes!
And then came the dreaded doctor's appointment. I got there early so I could get all the paperwork filled out, with the expectation that I would have to pay lots of money ($500 or so) for the appointment/tests since I don't have insurance. When I explained what's going on, they gave me the paperwork to fill out for the All Women Count program... and I QUALIFIED! The ENTIRE check up was FREE!!!!
AND, everything checked out ok (except my blood pressure, lol). But I told them I'm already working on that, eating better, working out daily... she said that next year I'm supposed to have blood work done (again PAID FOR!) and if I can succeed with my plan to get fit this year, she's curious to see changes - not that there will be much blood-wise, I'm still REALLY healthy- but it sure would be cool to walk in that door at least 40 to 60 pounds lighter! Another goal to strive for!
What an AWESOME day! Oh yeah... one other thing that came up at the doctor's.... she asked if I was seeing anyone yet, suggested I work on getting fitter so I could meet other fitter guys on the bike trail. Trail is tempting, meeting guys? Nope, lol.
LATER!

Great!!! I know you can easily lose the weight! Don\'t totally write off guys! You are still very young, I think it shows a lot of maturity on your part to not be interested solely in finding a new guy, but let things just happen naturally, if they happen at all!! Wish I had your stick-to-it-ness!! Love your pictures! (((Hugs)))
Isn\'t it a wonderful day when great things happen to you.
love a day with great flow.
Saw a LOT of men biking out this morning. Men here are very tour de Francey with their road bikes and love of huge drafting packs. Definitely not my type... I think you have much better chances of finding a real man out on the trails.
Glad things are snapping into place.
I\'m glad that you got the corporate manager issues off your list
Corp. Manager issues will be there until I die (or quit, lol), but I can handle them, lol!
