Things aren’t the same. When I was at uni everything was ok. I didn’t really care too much about uni but it was do able. Then when I finished that’s when it all went wrong. Uni days were a test, the whole week was a test. Long days and mountains of work and essays that had to be done. Tight schedules all the time and 10hours every day. Mondays were study in the morning till lunch time then prep for the weeks activities. in the evenings youth club from 6-9pm. Tuesdays was more study and essay writing plus catch up on any unfinished prep work then after lunch the café after school drop-in from 3-6 then back home to pick up my stuff for 16+ 7.30-9.30pm. Wednesdays and Thursdays were uni days. Up at 4.30am to catch the train to London to get to uni and return home at 7pm. Thursdays were always a mission coz id get off the train and have to go straight to work till 10pm. Long days! Friday, more study and prep for the afternoon. Girls group 3-5 then home for a quick tea before another youth club in the evening 7-9pm. Saturdays finish off any essays and complete evaluations for weeks youth clubs then make sure everything is ready for Sunday morning. Any time left is time off. Sunday morning church and young people 10am-1pm. Sunday afternoons any left overs and free time. Then right round to Monday again. It was always a rushed week and mega busy but at least I new where I was and things were in a routine. Now everyday is different and things aren’t the same. Now I seem to be having to prove myself all the time just to get a few hours a week work to live! They have just employed a full time work who is a year younger than me! How does that work? I think im more qualified than her aswel! Oh well. Now I work hardly any hours a week and it just doesn’t feel right. Things were safe before. I never had to worry about money or work or anything. Everything was settled and firm in place now I just don’t know about anything anymore, it seems like everything could crumble at any moment without warning. i dont no what to do.
