19 week check up
I went today for my level 2 ultrasound. It was a great check up. Everything looks really good. The high risk doctor said that there was nothing on the pictures that he could see that sent up any red flags. I asked him about checking the cord if it was possible and he said yes but its hard to see any abnomalities. He said to check with my dr. and he said to ask her what she has planned for later in the pregnancy. He said that If I wanted to have a ultrasound every month that I should tell my dr and they could work it out. So Everything is looking up at least for now. Sounds like all the prayers that everyone is saying seems to be working. I feel like I want to be happy but I just dont want to get happy then something happens to this baby too. I just dont know how far to go. Do you go get your baby stuff out of storage? Do you pick out something to decorate the babys room. do you start buying clothes. These things all scare me beyond belief. I want so much for everything to be ok. I want this baby to get to the end alive how do you turn your thoughts positive after so much tragedy? Oh we are having another little boy this also scares me. Im so glad we are having a boy but in the same breath we have only had a girl survive. I miss Wyatt so much every day I think about him. I know he had a part in bring us another little boy. I hope he has a part in getting him here. I love and miss you Wyatt. Love mommy

Congrats on the boy... I know how you feel. I\'ve had many of the same thoughts. I told my husband that we could stop at the mall on the way home from the hospital to buy some stuff and that we could ask people to buy stuff after he/she is here. Of course, if it\'s a boy, I guess it\'s easy we have tons of clothes... As far as decorating, I think I may pick out a paint color but I think that may be as far as I can go. I just don\'t feel safe buying anything! You\'re not alone. Hugs. Denise
YAY!!! A little boy. That is so exciting. I\'m not in your shoes yet so I\'m not sure about what to buy or when to decorate, but I would just take things slow. I\'m so happy to hear that everything looks good. Healthy is definently good! Hope you are having a peaceful night! -Heather
I\'m glad all is well. I think if I get pregnant again I will celebrate everyday and expect only the best. (I think). I actually had an ongoing fear of losing Jett everyday just because I didn\'t think something so great could really be happening. I didn\'t buy stuff for him, I didn\'t want stuff people gave me. I only took a few pregnancy pictures. I didn\'t really understand I was doing that until after I lost him. Now I wish I would have celebrated every minute I had with him. I should have honored him by getting him stuff and saying \"you are worth it\". Instead of dreading the worst. I would rather have those memories of buying things and actually being attached to them than having nothing like I ended up with . Does that make sense? Please celebrate this little one, go get him stuff!!
I am so happy the appointment went great and the little guy is doing so good. I know about the fear, I know I am not getting anything else ready. We were ready for Liam so I know I am not going to do the same. I just want to bring home a healthy baby- I will get my husband or someone else to go shopping for whatever I need afterwards.
Sending you hugs,
Biliana
Don\'t push yourself. When you are ready to do those things you will do them. If it doesn\'t happen until your new little one is here, then so be it. And if you feel like you want to go buy things and decorate a room now, then that is fine too. Do what feels right for you, all this baby really needs right now is his mommy\'s love- and I know for sure that he has more of that then he knows what to do with! I\'m here anytime you need to talk. sending you peace and love.
Congrats on another boy! I can understand it being both exciting and scary all at the same time. I pray this next one makes it breathing and crying for you. As for bringing out the baby stuff or not...do it when you feel ready. Don\'t preasure yourself. Hugs.
Thanks everyone for your support. It means the world to me and gets me through the days. Hugs to all
Cngratulations on the little boy! Have faith that he will be fine and I am sure that your Wyatt and my Wyatt along with all the other angels will get this one here just fine!
