19 days to Spring!

We had gotten 4.7 more inches of snow between Thursday and Friday and then snow showers on Saturday and Sunday.  And more snow tomorrow night into Wednesday, but praying for no accumulation.  I just can't take much more!  Still waiting for enough snow to melt so I can safetly take the dog for a walk outside our neighborhood, but still no sidewalks!

I was really, really sick yesterday.  Got dizzy on my way to Zumba at the Y.  Should have immediately turned around and came home.  Got out of car, walked into the Y, waiting for class to start and felt sick and like I was going to pass out.  Turned around and drove home and it was really scary.  Had really bad stomach cramps, gas, diarreah yesterday.  I sat on recliner bowled over all afternoon.  I did get to watch the ice hockey game US against Canada.  I was sorry US lost (sorry Laura!)  But it was a really great game. Feeling a little better today.

Work is just awful and the stress is really really wearing down on me.

I am addicted to Wii Walk it Out.  I start doing it and can't stop.  After an hour, I am saying to myself "Just let me get one more Streetlight."  "Just let me get one more song."  "Just let me get one more boutique."  Streetlights are 35 points (steps).  Cars are 100 points (steps.)  Blasto Burger is 287 points.  Palm trees are 50 points.  Houses are 200-225 points.  Etc.  OMG!  The thing says my city is 20% done and it has only been like 2 weeks!    Yesterday, I did over 17,000 steps for the day, 13,000 of which was on this stupid Wii Walk It Out game!  On my wish list for my birthday:  Wii Just Dance!  Go to Amazon.con and you can see videos for these.  Paul even says "Wow.  Guess I am glad I got you the Wii."

Back on track as of yesterday.  Food was OK yesterday and good today.  Exercise is great with the Wii Walk it Out.  Going to try to get up and get to the Y tomorrow AM.

The Wii sounds fun. I don\'t have one and it makes me want to go buy one. Sorry you were sick. Hope you feel better soon!

So sorry to hear you have been sick sweetie! :p That stuff is aweful...I had something like that last week! Get into bed and rest as much as possible! When you can start eating, after crackers and boillon that is...have bananas, applesauce and dry toast to start...to get your strength back!
You are doing so good with the excercising! I wish I was! I can\'t get myself together in that area yet! I do a little tiny bit on the elliptical I have, but am sooooo out of shape due to my disabilities and not doing anything so long, that I am hurting after a minute! Yikes! That is pretty bad huh? lol Well, I guess one has to start somewhere right? ;) (((HUGS)))

I hate to say this but I am hearing whispers of some super storm...40 inches in Mid March...I have to believe it isn\'t true...let\'s pray that it is all just some crazy theory with no validity.
Your symptoms sound close to mine Yvette...mine seem to be coming and going though and my systems seems to be having trouble purging them from my system. Hopefully the sore throat and stomach stuff will be the last of it!
That does sound super scary about that drive home! Glad you got there in one piece! Next time take time to sit and close your eyes for a few moments before getting in your car and driving home!!!
I was SOOOO going to tell Laura to stop GLOATING today but she is keeping her Canadian pride on the down lo...congrats to Canada...they rule hockey, apparently. lol.
It totally bites when work is not a pleasant place to go...and that makes the stress so much worse. Used to be much easier to switch gears and change career paths but these days jobs are so precious. Hang in there and hopefully soon either the stress will subside or better things will come your way!
That Wii game sounds awesome! I cannot WAIT until I can get the Wii again!
I\'ll have to get that game!!! Go Yvette Go!!!

PS: I was telling Brian I really want that Walk It Out game and he started asking me all kinds of technical questions I could not answer, lmao! He was definitely intrigued. Is it part of the WiiFit plus package or a separate game?

Sounds like you are doing better. I can understand the stress, working out is great way to help thru it. I\'ve been deciding whether or not I want to get a Wii, that game sounds really fun! I\'m sorry you weren\'t feeling well, yuck! I\'m sorry Team USA didn\'t win either, my whole family was screaming like crazy! Great job on getting back on track today!
