Today

Today I am finding a place for my mom after she runs out of finances for her care with Dementia/Alzheimer's.
I miss her a lot, and have not had a lot of time to focus on missing her because she seemed to become ill so quickly.
It turned my world upside down.
I visited this site a few days ago to help other moms the way I felt supported in 2002 after I lost my little Taylor at 37 weeks just before my baby shower.
I realize there are so many other reasons to be here.
I miss my mom...she is alive..but if you have a relative with dementia..I know you understand.
It rained in California where I live last night.  And Kendall was just amazed and ran and played.  She is not used to rain except in the winter.  We took a walk with dogs along the creek near our home...what an amazing experience!  Kendall is my little girl that I found out I was pregnant with on Mother's Day after my loss in December 2002.
It is amazing to see the joy in life of kids...and how her amazement brought something alive in me that I didn't know was in me anymore.
