From dust to clay he moulds us each day
Lord did many miracles while he was here, some immediately but for some he delayed, some directly but yet others indirectly using something.
In several instances he says to those asking for healing that their faith had healed and they could go back right away, but this instance in Gospel according to John was different………
Joh 9:1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. Joh 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Joh 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. Joh 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. Joh 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. Jo 9:6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, Joh 9:7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
The thing that i din get and had asked the Lord to explain the Lord was this……. He could have healed him directly, why didn’t HE? Why He spat at the ground and made clay and then HE made eyes of them, WHY???
Just yesterday God answered me this question i had asked long back. When satan came to tempt Jesus after He fasted for 40 days this is what Lord said.
Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Man shall not live for bread alone but for that which comes out of HIS mouth.
Before Jesus spat on the ground, there was just DUST but it was CLAY when it got one with what came out of the mouth of GOD. It’s the WORD (= spit) that came out of the mouth of GOD that made dust, man and everything around.
Later satan shows the glory of the world and asks Jesus to worship him so that satan may give it to him. But LORD considered it all dust whatever satan had. Even the whole world.
Gen 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
In garden of eden satan wanted to rule over mankind and be GOD in power, but satan overlooked the love of GOD. So satan/serpent wanted man ie dust and that’s what he gets to eat in eternity.
Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
In the new world where there will be no hurt, lion will be like lamb, and serpent like earthworm. WOW But Adam was lost in doing so…..
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. HE had to reclaim adam n his children, but how…..?
What came out of GODs mouth when adam was red mud (literal meaning of adama also similar to hindi word aadmi) was breath for adam that made him a living being.
What came from GODs mouth on earths dust was word of God as in John 1.
What came from GODs mouth from the cross was pardon, Luk 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. We who were nothing but dust before HIM, them he pardoned and made born again believers. Thus whatever came out of GODs mouth was LIFE for us.
Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. GOD is our potter and we are HIS clay…………..
For a sec let’s meditate on Job’s life. He was righteous and good in the sight of GOD. Still when he suffered for GOD’s glory (n not for any of his sin),
Job questioned GOD, as if HE was answerable to him!
Job 30:19 He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.
Job says GOD is responsible for his problem and is now become LIKE dust and ashes. But then GOD starts answering Jobs questions and ask him another million of em! One of em is this………..
Job 38:37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,
Job 38:38 When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?
NOW if LORD wouldn’t have revealed this secret i wouldn’t have got it right! Here GOD asks Job if he had any idea about when to measure the water in the sky and then pour them so that the dry earth becomes wet and is nourished.
But the word GROWETH has a mystery in itself. The Hebrew word is a parallel of ‘casting a liquid mix in the mould’ and clods that cleave fast mean that after casting it settles in the shape of the mould. Quite like plaster of paris around fracture or as a false ceiling. In other words it means, GOD is asking Job do u have any idea what God does to send the dew from above to change the dust of the earth into clay and mould it in form of GOD.
Pro 19:12 ……..but his favour is as dew upon the grass.
Hos 14:5 I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon Lord JESUS was as dew that came from the mouth of the GOD and settled on us, the dust of earth.
So that we may be molded in HIS FORM and thus become like HIM, in HIS righteousness and glory.
Isa 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
As dew came HE to the dust of earth one day, Dissolved them in himself to make of dust but soft clay Poured them in his mold, that HIS form may forever stay And called HE the fire of GODs wrath that consumed HIM, the water away On the clouds to rest, it went back the heavenly way But left behind HIS form in the dust, little christs, or christians as they say, Which in the worlds flame for a short while would lay, Painfully baked to perfect its Masters image every day. When Job realized this he no more said that GOD had made him LIKE dust and ashes but that he was nothing but dust and ashes.
Job 42:6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes. Job had just realized, that all he had was nothing but, dust and ashes, He was the richest man around, but all earthly possessions he had finally amounted to nothing but dust and ashes. But the only thing that was not dust was GODs mercy n salvation. When he acknowledged and realized this, GOD restored all things to Job, the double of what he had lost.
