update

Well things have not improved much at work. The inrolement in our Toddleroom has notgone up-- one more child moved up to thepreschool room and we got a new client butthey are partime. Ironically they are the sonof one of the college students I had mentored in the Spring. She took a shine to me and with good results. When I think back to how I behaved when I wasmentoring her, I remember expressing my trueself alot, shyness and fear were not around duringthat period. I was warm, helpful and understanding. We talked freely about many things besides workand she told me how shy she was and I told herI understand her challenges and concerns because Ihave the same ones. Also I haved noticed that this week I am not so shyaround certain acquaintances  I met while going hereand there. I found I was friendly and engaged in smalltalk. This weekend I have three days off even though I have alot to do, I am aiming to remain peaceful andrelaxed, and enjoy myself. Peace and love to everyone, Ida!!

You are doing just fine. If you didn\'t tell me you were shy, I never would have known. You seem very comfortable with yourself and that is good.

Hope things look up for you at work. Maybe now is when you should be putting your resume out and checking for jobs elsewhere. I can help you with your resume if you need. Just call me and we can set something up. Maybe you can make it part of your proactive goal?

Have a lovely weekend. Nicholas is coming over today and I am looking forward to that.

Hi Ida, Last time I read your journal you were talking the opposite of this journal .
it is wonderful that you are meeting and greeting life and people with a flow. When reading the part where you could recall how you felt you were your true self when mentoring ... Comfortable in your own skin is the way I put it ... I am thinking here that it is absolutely in you to continue.

I know for myself that I move in and out of self comfort and some moments I am shy, embarrassed &/or judgmental. But I do sit back and consider or reflect as you put it, on the change up. How one conversation I will be feeling very free and easy in terms of connection and comfort of self and then another moment restrained and self critical.

I join you in maintaining the spirit of flow and internal acceptance and internal connection which then reflect with in external connections. Peace to you....pageo
