I have been working on my goal to stay centred and positive.I still have periods where I lose my temper and say things Ilater regret or start to get stuck in my shy energy. What I doto recover is to become still and question what exactly is goingon, forgive myself and others and become clear again about howI would like to perceive and react to things. Then I start again!!! Recently I faced my fears about making appointment to go see the foot doctor and the dentist both I need to see, both I have been avoiding like the plague.  The foot doctor I am going to see is an acquaintance of my husband which is both a good and bad thing.  Good in the way that he might do us a few favours etc.., bad in that he knows me and therefore more likely to judge me. The dentist is one I found out of our local telephone directory. Contacting him was real hard to do. It took me three days to surmount the courage to make the appointment. Underneath the fear was the worry that I would be asked so many questions etc... None of that happened. The next part will be to attend the appointments andhear their opinions. Wish me luck!!!

I get nervous about those types of things too. I don\'t blame you. I have foot problems, where my feet hurt, it is interesting you might have the same problem. I do not seeing the dentist at all. I completely understand. They are always telling you to do things and then if you don\'t they won\'t be nice. It is enough to send anyone through the roof. Have a good day. Good luck with trying to be centered amonst all of this. Good job with doing that. I know that it was hard to do.

The foot doctor has no reason to judge you any more than a doctor who doesn\'t know you. In fact, I don\'t see any reason for either to judge you for anything. A doctor provides a service, and gets paid for it. The cashier at the grocery store doesn\'t judge you if you buy toilet paper or feminine stuff. Set it in your mind that people in general are not judging you. In fact, they\'re too busy with what\'s going on in their life to take time to judge. I wish you good luck my friend. Hugs, Oli

I haven\'t been on here in forever. It is great to see that you are still moving forward in your personal journey, living with self awareness and facing daily challenges. Always an inspiration :)

I too am anxious about doctors appts, and I do not know why, this only started about a couple of years ago. But last week I had my teeth cleaned after a yaer and a half, and today I had to go back for a filling to be taken out and replaced. I survived, lol. I have no idea why i became anxious of doctors taccept that maybe i don\'t feel great about myself i have no idea. Anyways the dentist for me is over for another 6 months. Good luck on your appointment. Tammy ps what is wrong with your foot?
