New Year's Eve party!!!
Well I went to the party and I learned a lot!!!
That is about myself and others!!!
I had so much resistance in going yesterday!!!
I told myself I am too tired, I do not have anything
to wear, will be ignored, shunned and make a fool
of myself!!!
On the other hand I really do want more friends and
more connections in the neighbourhood. It would be
a good opportunity to try out my emerging skills and
attitude!!!
Well what happened is that we were welcomed, treated nicely,
I had a lot of opportunities to use my emerging skills in socializing
in groups, handling painful and sensitive issues and making small
talk with others!!!
I am honestly ready for more, but when and how?

I am glad the party turned out well for you. I feel that way too when I have to go somewhere but then the party can turn out alright. It is really nice when that happens and you had a good time. I hope you will have more good experiences like this. All the best.

I am glad you went ahead and went to the party(despite your doubts). I am glad also that you have learned how to deal with your social problems so well. I would love to learn more about making small talk, handling painful and sensitive issues, and developing better social skills.
