I could probably write 17 pages of what happened today...but I wont! Things went in my favor today. Glenn showed his arrogance all over the place. I really could not believe how he was acting. Long story short....Judge was not happy he used money from home equity as he was not allowed. Then all four of us had to go talk about what we would settle for at this point. After much negotiation, over an hour, we offered our final offer. Glenn refused everything. He called my lawyer sweetie at one point, so she called him honey the rest of that meeting. SMILE. His comments to me and her were with the tone that "xx" amount, the amount I am paying now for the kids is what he will pay, that it did not matter how much they needed. I was stunned. I think an alien has invaded his body. WOW. He came in with the attitude that he was the head cock (rooster...you all need to get your mind out of that gutter you just fell into...lol / remember, I do live in KY ...HAHHA) - anyway the head cock of the town. He didnt have to speak - he was arrogant just standing there. So, he said,,,,well, we will just let the judge decide. Said - OK - lets go! The judge told Glenn that evidentally he had started the trial without him by making decisions that not only affect him, but me as well. He demanded that he deposit a nice sum into my account that day, that he never touch the equity again, and that the mediation process will be skipped by the court as the judge has decided that the trial will start in 2 weeks. He also said that when he comes in that day that he is to bring receipts for every penny of that money...that may be a problem cause last time I checked - dealers dont do that, do they?? My attorney and I left the court, stood outside and talked about 10 minutes. Glenn threw open the doors, obviously not happy, and there we stood - my lawyer and I - we smiled and I said "Honey? - that will be deposited today right? He just kept on walking, know he was fuming, probably would not have answered if my lawyer was not there.....but said yes angrily and kept on walking. FINALLY - after three months of hell with this man - the judge is starting to see what he is. My lawyer said she has never seen the judge skip court mediation, but she told me he is already sick of seeing him and his attitude..and thinks that is very good for me. Things have turned. I am exhausted. I really hate going to court. So, the four of us must meet within 2 weeks and work out each of the settlements we want, compare....and submit. The judge will obviously be deciding this one. I think that is a good thing. I have done everything for the children and everything is documented on my part.....so I feel relieved tonight.....i shall sleep well. Thank you all for everything...keeping me going, taking the time to read about my life.....and most of all giving a damn for someone you have never met. AUSOME.....YOU ARE! You keep me sane...and trust me, that is no easy thing.....lol / xxxooo
