Well, it took a few days, but I am out of that bad place I have been in...what a drag.  I have been very busy with the kids.  Sara had her very first volleyball game.  Although nervous, she did well.  The second one was the following night and the team as a whole did very well.  I did not know that volleyball could be so exciting.  Wes has been busy with football practice.  His first game is next week.  I have been nervous about him playing - getting hurt, but he really likes it and now I feel it is a good outlet to release all the feelings he is having about his father.  I feel sorry for the other guy he will tackle actually...lol.  Work has kept me busy this week.  Glenn and I finally spoke yesterday.  He said he was tired of fighting and that someone told him that we would always be married because we have kids...I said we will always have interaction with each other because of the kids but we most certainly will not be married.  I told him that we needed to work together for the children and stop all this ridiculous interaction with the lawyers and sit down and work out an agreement.  Long story short, we will be able to divide the contents of the house, vehicles, decided to sell a few things...what a pain in the ass.  We dont agree on the property - no surprise there.  He feels that the house and farm should be his because it is from his family.  Granted, the land is from his family, but the deed is in both our names and we were married 4 years with property before we built the house.  My contention is that this is the childrens farm now and I do not want to remove them from their family and lifestyle.  This would just cause more damage than is already done.  I am willing to section of the house and the property it is on and then come up with an arrangement for the rest that will insure the kids will inherit it.  He wants to put it up as collateral to build a new house, not here, and I said if for some reason you cannot pay for what you build, then the property would be lost.  He said what makes you think I would do that.....easy = I never thought you would have done what you have up until this point and I now know that nothing is guaranteed in life.  He could get hurt, or whatever, and to risk the land on what could happen is not an option for me.  That is going to be the sticking point.  He left me and the children emotionally over a year ago.  He has been physically gone since June 29th and has had minimal contact or interaction with the children.  Now, I am no judge, but I cant imagine that their is a judge in the world that would give him the house and farm and make me and the kids move out after what he has done.  He has spent less than 2 days total with his children in 8 weeks.  I dont know why I am still nervous about the possibiliy of having to move, but I am.  Stranger things have happened in this world.  Maybe I am just nervous being a single parent of teenage twins....good God, that would be enough to put anyone over the top.  I love my children so much.  They keep me getting up and going when I just dont think I have it in me.  I have to have faith that what is meant to happen will happen.  That is still a hard reality for me to face, but it is the case.  Thank you to all my friends who have supported me and listened to me no matter what.  You all mean so much to me, you will never know.  This afternoon I will be alone...the kids going swimming, so I think I will relax by our pool, have a few lemon drops...(drink) yum yum....and then have a few more......after all, it is the holiday!   Once again, thank you.......

That\'s right, enjoy your time with and without the kids. Take this thing one day at a time, accept the good days with the bad days. Don\'t be afraid to cry or to laugh, you really need to laugh! And in doing this you are creating your very own past, without him. This is a good thing because you are the master of your own destiny. Good luck, Beth

I\'m so glad you are feeling more positive. It\'s such a damn rollercoaster we are on.It\'s great you managed to talk with HIM and sort a few things out. It\'s the unknown that is so frightening, just hold on to the fact that what ever happens you and the kids will be fine. We will end up where we are meant to be. We have not done anything wrong so we will be looked after, I\'m sure of that. Stay strong my love. XXXXXXXX

It seems like nothing but selfishness from him...he needs to start over and doesn\'t want to be patient and save for it, would rather risk his kids\' security for it. The house and land are marital assets, whether they came from his family or an unknown seller. Stick to your guns! Our kids should stay in the homes they know and yours should get the property later.

You are doing a great job keeping up with two kids, all their activities, and your own work! This week try to find some time to kick back with a book or just a lemon drop , take time to appreciate you!
