Well, Wed. the 8th was our initial court date.  I was ok until I got in the car.  My body just started shaking.  I was sitting in the court room when Glenn came in and asked if he could sit next to me.  I just shrugged my shoulders, so he did.  He asked me what this was about...and I said, you have a lawyer ask him.  He knew exactly what this was about - emergency support as he had cut off everthing.  His lawyer made us a crazy offer, and we refused..that is why we were there.  He submitted the last three pay stubbs which had vacation 2 weeks, and no overtime because he quit working overtime to lower the numbers.  He thinks I am an idiot.  I wispered to my attorney that those checks were not an accurate picture of what he has made.  My lawyer said so and the judge sent us to a room, all 4 of us, to work this out.  There was alot of exchanges in this room, but I maintained my composure and addressed every one of them.  He first said that I would have to get a full time job.  My response was that our kids are my fulltime job, and that I make such good money in my part time job that I have been at for 4 years and I love, that I was not going to change that.  I also gave him receipts of back to school things I had to get for our children.  He said he was going to start paying child support next week and that was too bad.  His lawyer said he owed me half.  Not going to well for him at this point.  Then they came up with the child support figure which he disagreed with as he had his own figure in his head and a chart from the state that he had worked with.  Since he did not have my help, he did not read how to calculate accurately and he was off by about 350 per month.  So sorry Glenn....the law is the law.  He also thought that he was not responsible for any of the monthly bills that we incurred together.  Guess what...you are.  He didnt like that either.  Needless to say, I had my stuff together and he did not.  One for me...finally.  He was not a happy camper when it was over.  I left with my head held high and feeling really good.  By the time I got in my car, he still had not exited the building.  My guess is his lawyer had a few choice words for this man who lied to him.  He thinks he in untouchable...and he definitely acts like he doesnt know me.  He will know me, because my name is Kelly and he will remember how strong I am.  Mess with me, fine.....mess with our kids......no way.   They will be taken care of.  Maybe he is getting that by now.  We meet with our lawyers on the 25th to go over our assets.  I cant wait.  I am on the way up, and he just started to reap what he has sewn.  Am I bitter? no  Am I scorned? maybe  Am I angry?  you bet  Am I going to make sure our kids are taken care of?  You bet your ass.  Hello Glenn......my name is Kelly....remember me?
