Hello
I have not written on here in quite awhile. There isn't much to tell. I should have checked to see when the last time I did write. Oh well it really doesn't matter. Not much has been going on. My brother is home now. He has a nurse come in 3 times a week. The other days my sister or I must change his bandages. I really wish he would heal up so we didn't have to do that. But I guess it's better than driving to Niagara Falls to see him. I do his shopping for him and what ever else he needs. I still help my aunt, who has a husband and a daughter but who don't seem to want to help her out. Friday is her birthday and she wants a fish fry. She asked if I will go get it for her. Since it's her birthday I couldn't say no. But really, shouldn't her husband do that for her?
As for my life. Nothing has changed much. No guy is in my life right now. I am taking a break from dating since every guy I pick don't work out. Maybe the good Lord is trying to tell me something. So I am stepping aside and letting Him do it. I have told Him I am not getting any younger so He best hurry. lol
I really wish the weather would get warmer here. It will be in the 60s but with rain. That sucks if ya ask me. My cats Sassy and Missy are doing great. Sassy just had her shots. She lost half of a pound, the way the two of them run through this trailer it's a wonder she didn't lose more than that. Missy is a love bug. Loves to rub her face on mine. She does it when I'm on the floor doing my stretches for my back every morning. At night Sassy is by my legs and Missy is at my feet. Sassy is boss that's for sure. As it should be since she is older and she is #1.
I do feel down cus it seems everyone's life it going forward and mine don't move. My sister and her bf are buying a house. My nephew and his wife are buying a mobile home. Two widows I know are engaged. Maybe one day it will be my turn. I can only hope.

Its a real challenge to be single these days. What are some of your interests? What do you enjoy doing,that helps take your mind of of stuff for awhile? For me it is tangeling and gardening.

Well, some of my interests are pen palling, watching my favorite shows, reading, country music, my cats. Being on the computer I don\'t think to much. I am hardly home during the day thanks to my aunt and brother. This week has been bad with them. I do hope next week will be better. I feel like a need a vacation lol Thanks for writing. Hugs!!

glad the cats are doing well. and yes your aunt\'s family should be helping her, but not at all surprised they are not. its pretty common. surprised even her daughter isn\'t? nice that you are helping both her and your brother. how is he doing?
does your church offer trips for the members? or casser tours?david\'s tours used to be big up there. bus tour companies, very cheap that also book the hotels you stay at. so much fun. have been on several of those in my teens, but all ages are on those and you never need a partner to go with you, its a busload of people vacationing on the same tour.
It is getting nice up here. It\'s a bit cooler right now but will warm up as the week goes by. Saturday we are to get some heavy duty rain storms so they say.
No, the church doesn\'t offer any of those things. I wouldn\'t go anyway unless I knew someone else was going that I knew. I\'m not the type to talk to strangers, to say HI and how are you I can do. But other than that I don\'t do so well.
My aunt\'s daughter claims to be so busy and besides she is Daddy\'s girl. She\'ll jump for him but not her mother. Her other daughter, who passed away was Mom\'s girl. Who know\'s why.
My brother is doing ok. He gets down and lonely at times but don\'t we all. He still has a nurse 3 times a week. The other days my sister and I changes the bandages. He gets in and out of bed real good now and even switches to one chair to another on his own. He has PT twice a week and they get him walking with a walker. If he could at least stand on one leg he could get in and out of my car and I could take him to appoints. But I can\'t till he can do that. He\'s way to big for me to handle.
