Just a quick note as I am getting ready to head out the door to go to church with my special Mom and take her to lunch.  I wanted to tell you all how very important you all are to me and how much of a lifeline you have become.  I don't journal much and don't seem to have as much time as I would like to comment and "keep in touch", but I think of you always and send love and hugs.  My prayer is that we are each able to get through this day with thoughts of the blessing that our children are to us and that we can feel their presence with us today.  Clinton's accident was just about a week after Mother's day in 2007.  He called me that Mother's day early before I left for church.  He NEVER had done that before.  He said he just wanted to tell me how much he loved me and that I was the one person in his life that he could trust and never lie to him.  I will ALWAYS cherish that precious gift from him and will hold that in my heart today.  My oldest son still lives in CT but I got a beautiful card and know that he will call today.  With all the trials and bumps we went through, I know without any doubt that my boys love me just like I love them and for that I am so thankful.  Even with my mistakes, I managed to raise wonderful sons.
