Seven months ago today at this very time my son fell and his life here on this earth was ended. I know that Jesus bent down on picked him up and healed and comforted him even as Clinton did his own children when they fell and were hurt. I know that, but my heart is still breaking and I don't know how to stop it. This time last year I was frantically trying to run around town and find the "OveGlove" for him. He heated with a fireplace insert and had seen an advertisement on TV for the OveGlove. He said, "That's what I need, that's what I'm talking about." He said that would keep him from burning his hands while he tended to the fire. I went on the search and found them (oh yes, he wanted one for each hand) at Walgreens here. I was so proud of myself and had them wrapped and under the tree. Well, when I finally saw the commerdial on television and he once again said, "That's what I'm talking about," I realized that I didn't have the OveGlove but the HotGlove. It had yellow stipes instead of blue stripes and the temperature that they withstood was about 40 degrees less than the OveGlove!!! This sounds silly, but I went into a panic because I had the wrong thing. I called and searched until I located a store that had the original OveGlove so I went there and got them and with quite a bit of hassel, finally managed to take the other ones back. After he opened them I told him the story of my trials of getting him the "real thing". He laughed and told me the other ones would probably have been fine but I know him and he usually has thought things through and knows exactly what he wants when he makes a decision. This year I think back on that "adventure" and am so thankful I didn't settle for something just close to what he wanted. I hope he realized how very much I loved him and that he brought joy to my life.I was disappointed that my oldest son couldn't come home for Christmas this year, he lives in CT. Yesterday he called me at work and asked what my email was and told me he would call me back. When he called he told me to check my email, that he had sent me an ecard. I checked it and it said something about seeing him for Christmas. He then told me to check the second email he had sent me and it was flight information. He is flying me to CT to see him for Christmas! I will be able to spend Christmas day with my grandkids and Mom and Sisters here and I fly out Christmas evening and will be with him on Christmas too. I will spend part of New Years Eve in CT then fly home that evening and will be able to be with the grandkids to see the new year in, it's what I've done for several years now. How wonderful, thoughtful and loving is Lance!!!! God truly blessed me with two wonderful sons and I am so very thankful for the wonderful relationship I have with them. This is a bittersweet Christmas but I intend to experience the goodness and joy to the best of my ability. There are so many of us who are facing this huge hurdle of our first Christmas without a beloved child. Know you are all in my thoughts and prayers and that I am truly blessed that you have come into my life. Thank you all so much for being my friend, for listening to me, and for encouraging me. God Bless you and I pray that you will have peace and comfort this Christmas...love...Lynn

Oh Lynn,, I am in tears. I am so so happy for you. And know that I bow my head for Clinton today, and hug you for your loss. Of COURSE he knows how much you still love him. I love the OveGlove story, those are the memories that make life so lovely to rememeber. And that Lance, how amazing and great. That\'s the beauty of the universe working to reward a woman who is nothing short of an amazing person, a great friend and a gift to all of us. You are going to have a fabulous holiday and you so deserve it. Merry Christmas my friend. Caroline
