Okay, here he is, the green smiley for the second Monday in a row.  Can't say that the whole week has gone that way.  There is still so much that affects us having lost Clinton.  His children are so wounded, even though I personally try to do everything I know to keep them grounded and able to talk about what they feel and think.  My daughter in law still is handling things in a way that I cannot understand at all.  Instead of focusing on her children and taking comfort from them and giving comfort to them she just runs all the time and she just moves people in and out of her house and is now seeing a 22 year old man/boy.  She cries around and has a "go to pieces" about once a week or so and says how much she misses Clinton but not even 5 months after his death she has moved a 22 year old in with her?!  Mixed message to me anyway.  I do know that Clinton loved me as much as any son could love his Mother and I know he loved his children above anything in the world.  I take peace and comfort in that and I am writing in his favorite color and putting up the little green guy in honor of my precious boy.

Lynn, sounds like your daughter in law is trying to suppress the feelings by keeping so busy she has no time to think about how much she hurts. I also don\'t agree with her moving a 22 year old boy/man into a house with young children in it. But who am I to judge anyone elses grief...I still can\'t face a house full of my son\'s belongings without going to pieces for days and days after.

Sending you love and hugs for comfort and Strength, Vera~Erick\'s mom

Boy, has Vera hit the nail right on the head! Sounds to me like she is hiding from her pain, too. When my step-mom passed away, my father moved in a woman 2 weeks older than I was within about a month. (He had loads of money back then, so he was a catch...) Needless to say, it eventually caught up with him.
