Okay, I'm really pushing for the "green face".  It's a dreaded Monday but it comes on the heels of a WONDERFUL long weekend with the 3 grandchildren who live here in Martinsville.  Their mom decided to take another one of her long weekends and went to Florida so I was with the kids from Thursday evening until last night about 11:00p.  We really had a good weekend, did some fun things and just enjoyed each other.  The kids didn't really fight that much which in itself is a small miracle!!!!  I just absolutely hate it that Clinton has to miss out on his children growing up, learning new things and developing into such precious individuals.  They were truly the focus of his life and his reason for lliving.  He had a "wounded heart" for important people in his life letting him down.  He always told me I was the only adult he could completely trust and that his kids were his reason for living.  I miss him more and more each day but I try to keep focused on all the happy, good times and that brings me peace.  I have such a soft heart for young men who aren't feeling the love from family like they should.  Clinton and Lance (my oldest son) were always bringing home friends who needed acceptance and love for a Mother figure.  That speaks volumes to me about how they felt about me.  It brings me comfort.I am so very thankful that I stumbled on this web site quite by accident on my part but I'm sure directed by God.  You are all so wonderfully supportive and compassionate.  I have been "picked up" so many times.  My prayer is that I am able to help others here too.  We are bonded together by our losses and the great love we had for them.  I pray for peace and beauty for each of you.  Love and hugs...LynnDearest Clinton, I still miss you so terribly and my heart breaks that you are not here.  My promise to you is that I will continue to strive to live the life that you would want for me and I will be there for your children as long as I draw breath.  Thank you for that special bond that we had here on earth and we still have even though we are physically separated.  I love you and your brother with all my heart and always will.  Your forever Mom

Those babies will feel his love through all the wonderful time they spend with you. My granddaughter won\'t remember much about her daddy, either, so we just have to give them all the extra love they\'re missing out on. So proud of you that you put up that green face today, kiddo! Love you - Barbara

You will keep Clinton\'s memories alive for his children. I am so blessed to have grandchildren from my other children because they do bring joy back to a broken heart. I also stumbled on this website, and would like to think it was God driven. Without people like you, I would be totally lost. Thank you for being there.
