Well, I had to go back to work yesterday after being off with my grandkids for a week. Last night was my last night to spend with them at their house after 11 nights. I got up early this morning so I would have enough time to just lie down and watch them sleep. Their Daddy always made sure he kissed and loved on each one of them before he left for work every morning, even though they were asleep. He was such a good Daddy and they miss him sooo very much. It will be quite an adjustment to be in my quiet house after so much time with so much laughter and busyness with the 3 kids. I went to the graveyard on my way to work this morning to tell Clinton that I was trying to do my best to make sure his children are happy and have plenty of hugs, kisses and love. This crying stuff just continues to come up and smack me right in the face at such unusual times. I continue to keep my focus on God for my strength and comfort. I read somewhere on this site where someone wrote that death is not the end, it's just the first step into the beautiful eternity of heaven. I'm so happy that Clinton doesn't have the stress and trials of this life to deal with anymore but I sure do miss him with all my heart. A friend of mine who buried her husband on the day my son was killed just received word that her son was killed in Afganistan on Friday. She also lost her mother-in-law in between the death of her husband and her son. My heart just breaks for her. Please keep her in your prayers.Hope you are all well and able to find at least some bits of comfort here and there. I continue to pray for all of us...Lynn
