WIIyes, i have been a victim of the addictive powers of the nintendo wii, christmas was very delightful, and exhausting. My mother woke us all up at 7:30, and the festivities began...i got what i wanted...a blackberry, i have been talking about that blasted thing forever, and finally i got one. When my sisters opened the wii though, it was chaos. I kid you not, my 12 yr. old sister went airborne, and flew past me, pushing me to the side, and practically ripped it out of the 8 yr. olds hands, and finished unwrapping it, i mean it was hilarious, they then screamed for one minute straight, i mean full on screaming.When i got my blackberry, i have to say i did have a juvenile moment...i tried to get up and run around, but i fell flat on my face, and cried and screamed " you don't understand, yulia tymoshenko ( prime minister of ukraine) has this phone"...but all i could get out for 30 seconds was " you you you you" it was hilarious..LOL.My mom got a suv...saturn outlook, ruby red, with dvd player, the little car camera, so you can see yourself bagging up, gps, and all that jazz... Dinner went uneventful, i ate some corn bread, and ham and beans, i tried to hold out as long as i could, but i purged...but i redeemed myself, and forced myself to have a small piece of cake...and i kept it down...small victory.My holiday was so wonderful, i spent the entire day playing wii, and a whole litany of games with my little sisters...it has been such a long time since i have played or spent quality time with the little rugrats, because i tend to isolate myself...but i forgot how much i love those girls, and how much fun we have when we are together..especially me and my 16 yr. old sis...b/c she is old enough to get more mature humor!!I am hoping that the fuzzy warm feeling continues through new years, and then i have my birthday on jan.6..the big 22!!! I am hoping all of your holiday's were just as wonderful, and blessed.
