Salutations,While i was at the mall yesterday i was in this store vanity, and i was looking at jeans and the sizes were european and iasked what would be a size 0, and she goes..."   you wouldn't find that here, you would have to gain some weight to shop here" i was like are you kidding me..and then these two ladies walked into the store, and asked if the store had jeans that would fit them..and the sales lady said " yep, we have clothes that fit women with bodies, not like those anorexic models, that is not the way to be, people who do that, are so stupid."I hate having to contend with people who have no friggin idea about what it is like..they get on my nerves. I treated myself today, i got a little pastry with my starbucks!! i got a little almond bar!! so that biznatch at the store can just kick rocks !!! lol... I am freaking out major over my meeting with first lady, i don't know why, but i am so nervous, like i have no way to get my nerves under control.I  am about to go shopping, and hopefully that lifts my spirits...my check was dissapointing...but i am still going to get myself a little somethin' somethin'...i mean i need a pair of jeans, and dress pants..and a cute crop suit jacket, and maybe a pair of stilletos..i saw a pair that looked very prime minister / presidential....I NEED THEM.you know what is so weird...i lose all of this weight, but now i have to hide my body more than ever, but i couldn't wait to get to a certain size, and now i hate people looking at me...does anyone else have that same weird feeling? ~ciao Bellas~

That women at the store sounds rude. I probably would have reported her to the manager. People who haven\'t experienced an ED think it\'s just a vainity issue. They don\'t know what we go through on a daily basis.
I hate when people look at me because of my size. I don\'t try to hide it though. This is the way I am right now, so people just have to except that. I also feel really uncomfortable in loose clothing. It makes me feel fat even though I know I am not fat.
I wish I could go shopping with you. I haven\'t been clothes shopping in a long time. I think it\'s because I always get frutrated that the stores I like to shop in don\'t have stuff small enough for me and I feel self conscious(sp)shopping in the childrens stores.
You\'ll do fine with the first lady, I\'m sure. But I am sending you my luck anyways.

Hey, listen -- DO NOT USE THE EXCUSE OF BEING AN IMPOSITION TO OTHERS IN ORDER TO GET OUT OF THIS MEETING. You are trying to rationalize your way out of the meeting. Don\'t listen to that ED voice! Listen to the \"you\" inside. The one that wants recovery.

As for the comments that lady made... her comments were probably motivated by the same thing that fuels your illness: insecurity. As women we are raised to believe we are never good enough, physically. In order to make ourselves feel better, we are taught to put others down. BUT, in the long run, we are all responsible for overcoming that behavior within ourselves. And it can be done.

I wouldn\'t be angry with her -- I would feel sorry for her, because she has never learned to empower herself without hurting others. That\'s sad.

I have had that weird feeling but who cares what ppl think what matters is are you happy with urself and comfortable in ur own skin! I think if ur insecure ur gna be despite what size ur! I was not happy when i was fatter than i am now neither when i was scarily underwieght and didnt fit a thing and yeh im still insecure its just the way minds work i suppose weight loss/gain does not change that thinking..... acceptance or things in ur life and courage to change the things you can change are what change that thinking!
