Okay so seriously, when did it become okay for parents to berate and belittle their children. You would not believe what my mother told me today.. she said and i quote: " you are starting to look sickly, i think i need to call and take out another policy on you, so don't die until i sign the papers, i mean you obviously have a death wish."Everyday is a new eating disorder comment, joke, or something totally asenine. I am very angry at the fact that they see it okay to taunt me about my weight, but not get me the help that i need to get my life together. It is starting to become comical to me everytime it happens, because i keep thinking to myself .. what is it going to take to get them to understand? It is so completely random, but i even considered running away. The tragic part about it is, my sisters have begun to join in the fun, and my parents just f'ing let them do it, and then the sad part is my mom starts to join in and become the ring leader. I can't take this anymore, i think i am going to call a psychologist, and just tell my parents after i make the appointment. I think i am going to send the papers to my aunts house and since my aunt and i go to the same church, i will have her bring them to me there. I am going to have to bite the bullet and ask my aunt for support, its just i hate feeling like a burden to people.

People deal with things in different ways. Maybe she is attempting to shame you into getting better. Or maybe, she is trying to shock you into seeing just how thin you really are getting. It seems weird to me, but I think you and I think alike, so other people\'s way of acting might seem equally strange to both of us. Obviously it\'s not helping you though! You should tell her that. You should say \"You know, when you say things like that, it doesn\'t help me. It makes me worse. You are underming my self-esteem and hurting me with your words.\" See what she says to that. :(

In the meantime, I think you really should make an appointment and ask your aunt to help you. *hug* Hang in there. You are doing so good, in the face of all this. You haven\'t given up, which says SO much about you, as a person. :) I am finding more and more reasons to admire your strength.
