12 days and counting. I have to go for another blood test for pilori, the ins. companies sure do put everyone through their hoops. I talked to my husband last night and came clean with my melt down and what was scariang me. I told him that I probably wouldn't want to cook for a while after surgery because if I can't have it I don't think I would want to cook it, at least not right away. To my suprise he said that he had thought of that, he talked to our son (of 19 yrs) and they agreed that they could cook for them selves. I love to cook, so my absence from the kitchen will be only until I can have things again. I also told my hubby that I probably will have more melt downs and to please be prepared, supportive, and most of all patient. Like one of my on-line buddies said it's mourning your old lifestyle, saying good-bye to it, I can do this, I need to be healthy. Well on with another day. The weather here is rainy and humid, so maybe I will go to our cellar and finally start painting it and getting it organized so we can have friends over to play pool and ping-pong.

I love cooking too. I love the smells and it\'s not bothering me at all. Get a cookbook for post-WLS. When you\'re on pureed food, I\'ll give you a wonderful shrimp bisque recipe.
