Update

I know it's been a long time since I've been on here...Overall I've been fantastic socially and academically. I LOVE college. All of my classes are amazing and I've made some wonderful friends.  I miss my family, but they call almost every weekend and I see them a lot.  Spring break is next week and we're all going to the beach in Florida. YAY!!
But with my allergies...things haven't been so hot. Nasal triggers are every which way I turn...from the mold in our bathroom, to the early and horrific pollen in the air, to my roommate's boyfriend's cat. I've basically been sneezing and coughing non-stop since I got here in August lol. Right now it's worse than ever with spring starting to bloom. Everyone in all my classes knows just what my sneezing sounds like, which is funny and embarrassing at the same time. My energy levels aren't 100% from all the yucky symptoms I've been having.
Food allergies have been an issue too. I do a lot of cooking myself, but I've had three reactions this school year--one to sesame, one to strawberries, and one to crab. The sesame and strawberry wasn't very severe just annoying hives, but crab was anaphylaxis and I spent a few hours in the ER right before Valentine's day.
All in all, I'm hanging in there...It's just taking a lot of my effort to attempt to control my allergies right now. I'm rinsing out my sinuses nightly, taking my inhaler and medicines like I should and making every effort to avoid my triggers, but college life makes it hard...but it's still not okay. I feel like I might be getting a sinus infection which I DON'T want to be sick over break.
Hope all of you are doing well. Peace, love and art.
