I feel like I'm having an out of body expierience what ever that means I just don't feel like myself and it's causing some worry I feel like I'm suppose to be somewhere else like the weather should be or more like is different like fall I feel strange I've felt this way plenty of times, but not this extreme I wonder if my med's are doing something to my brain or if this is normal guess I'll talk to my therapist about it today.
I also went on a spending spree and didn't pay my bills I wonder if I'm having an episode I don't think I quit get this Bipolar thing yet! All I understand is the anger and depression part!

I\'m glad you\'re seeing your therapist today!! Now let\'s just hope that he or she has heard that complaint enough times to have a pretty good idea what it means!!
Not all hypomanias and/or manias are fun!! Is spending your house money on other things a sign that you might be going up, even if the rest of your symptoms aren\'t the same? Going up doesn\'t always mean feeling great. Sometimes it just means a general loss of control.
I wonder if everything else feeling \'not quite the way it should be\' is just another clue that it\'s time to rein yourself in as best you can, so you don\'t go too high and then face the inevitable crash!!!
I have felt that way at times -- if I\'m reading you right. A sense of dis-ease. I feel out of sorts and nothing I do seems to lessen the feeling. Everything seems a bit different than usual, in a way that\'s hard to define. And even though I project the feeling onto other things, such as the weather and how things look to me if I\'m out in public, I really think it\'s something within us and even if the external things DID change into what we wanted to (if we could even figure that out), I think we\'d still feel different about ourselves.
I interpret that as anxiety (worry) when it happens to me. It\'s generally low-grade when I\'m just feeling off, a bit more severe when the feeling is stronger. I deal with it by taking an extra .5mg of generic Xanax during the day, when that happens. I have my Pdocs permission to do this.
Are you on any new meds? I\'ve had meds affect me that way, when I first go on them. It has almost always gone away in a few days time although with a couple of other ones, I had to discontinue the med. For instance, Lexapro does that to me, although so many others swear by it and love how it works for them!!!
I hope your therapist can either help you understand what\'s going on, thereby making it lose its hold on you, or refer you to your Pdoc, who may do a med tweak.
The spending might just have been an attempt to \'right\' things. To get rid of the feeling of not quite feeling yourself. A way to reduce the worry (anxiety) that you feel.
How does anxiety usually manifest itself in you? Do you tense up the muscles in your neck and/or back muscles? Or do ALL your muscles get tense? If you stop to focus on it, is your breathing a bit more shallow than usual? If so, sometimes it helps to consciously relax your muscles (they may keep trying to tighten up!) and to force yourself to take deep, slow breaths.
Again, I\'m sorry for what you\'re going through and I hope that whatever you learn in therapy will give you the tools for diminishing the unpleasant feelings you are experiencing!!!
Good luck!!! I hope you find your answers!!!!! (((((Hugs)))))
