18 weeks 4 days

I cant believe its been almost 2 weeks since I've written. I'm almost 19 weeks now. Its going by so fast, only 1 more week till my ultrasound. I cant wait! I hope the baby isnt being stubborn and will work with us where we can find out the sex. LoL. I've been doing good myself. The sickness I think has finally subsided. It could be the begal and creme chesse I eat every morning. I dont really know but I'm afriad to stop eating it incase thats whats keeping me from being sick. LoL. I'm getting so big you can definatly tell I'm pregnant now. Im getting all the great things that come along with getting bigger also....the stretching pain, the stretch marks, other pains. But I guess I cant really complain the present in the end will be soooooo worth it. One thing that is bothering me is I've always had trouble with my hips hurting but since I've been pregnant its gotten so much worse. In the beginning of my pregnancy I felt something pop in my hip and its been excrucating pain every since then. Somedays its so bad I cant walk on it or put any pressure on it. It hurts all the time everyday even if I'm laying down or sitting down if I move one little bit it sends shooting pain through me. It almost brings me to tears everytime. I told the doctor about it at my last app but he didnt really say much. I wonder if theres anything they can do. I dont think they can do xrays or anything and I dont think your suppose to go to a chripractor when your pregnant. I might just have to live with it till I have the baby. I might be in a wheel chair before I have the baby. LoL. The last few days I set with a heating pad on it then lastnight my husband was like should you be using that. I didnt even think anything about it when I started using it. But he had a good point about it raising your bodies tempature and thats not good for the baby. So needless to say I've been scared to death every since then. I hope I didnt do something so stupid and hurt my baby. I got out my book 'what to expect when expecting' and it gave contridicting information in one spot it said its not recommended to use a heating pad during pregnancy but in another it said for pain to use a heating pad wrapped in a towel for 15 mins at a time. Does anyone know? Im not going to use it again no matter how bad I hurt but I want to know if I hurt my baby. Well I guess thats it for now. Besides the hip thing I've been doing good. I think about you girls everyday. Hugs Monica.

You\'re so close to the halfway mark! So exciting! I think it\'s worth giving your doctor another call about your hip pain. You don\'t want to be in pain for your entire pregnancy and maybe it\'s something that can be easily remedied. Anyways, I\'m so glad everything else is going well!

don\'t worry, you didn\'y hurt the baby, well it\'s alright and normal to worry. my Dr told me to use heat and baths for my pains. i think the baby is well protcted. but you know, anything too much is too much. your body will let you know when it\'s too much. talk with your Dr too.
I\'m so exited for you, wow 19 weeks and soon the big ultrasound.

i\'m sorry you\'re in so much pain. i also have hip pain even without being pregnant and it\'s not fun. i don\'t think there\'s anything wrong with going to a chiropractor while you\'re pregnant, i\'m still going to mine. i guess it\'s actually suppose to help with symptoms during pregnancy and help make the birth easier. it even helps to take heartburn away! anyway, i would definately talk to your dr again about the hip pain because you\'re going to need to be in the best shape possible to give birth.
i think you can put a heating pad on, like you said, with a towel around it and only for 15 minutes at a time.
i can\'t wait to hear about your u/s!!

Those growing pains are such a pain. hehe Everyonce in a while I get some streching pains and I\'m only 8-9 weeks. Try to wear the maternity pants with the thing that comes over the belly to support your belly more if you haven\'t been wearing those. Actually I went to a chiro the entire time I was pregnant with my son and it was wonderful. I would check with the ob but it may help with the pain. Hugs and feel better!!

A heating pad on medium heat should not hurt the baby. Have you tried a warm bath? congrats on hitting 19 weeks. I hit 15 today. I also eat the bagel and cream cheese everyday and I don\'t have any more m/s either... Can\'t wait to hear about the u/s.
