18 months
Got my 18 month chip today from AA. I had my days when I nearly slipped but I didn't. I hung on because I put more thought into what it was I almost wanted to do, and how many people I would hurt by doing it. When I did that it was easy to stay sober because I only want to help people and not hurt them. I have also been clean from narcotics for about 2 years. That was much more difficult because the pills made me feel much better then the alcohol did.

Remember one day at a time, Bob and know I stand behind you in support. Congrats again.
weldone :) x
Bob, just focus on a day at a time and how good you feel and how far you have come
You r so kind. You think of how your actions would affect OTHERS, more than how the drink would affect YOU. I admire that, Bob. Kudos to you, man!!!
Good job man! It is said that the tougher the problem, the greater the triumph.
Treasure your triumph!
Congrats on getting your chip! I\'m really proud of you!
keep going .......it\'s hard but you can do it>>>>>
Congratulations - you are an inspiration! Love, Mary
you know how OTHERS feel about your accomplishment (kudos!), but what did the chip mean to YOU? what were you thinking when it was placed in your hand? just curious.
wishing you Godspeed to your next chip...
