Hey everyone! I'm jsut really happy with the results that I'm getting from this hospital stay! Ya, I'm still in here- day 16! Actually I'm having sinus surgery tomorrow at 3:30 pm and I hope that goes well! I was so pumped to hear that they don't put the long gauze thingys up your nose after the surgery! I had this surgery once before, somewhere else, and they did that and it SUCKED when they took them out! MAJOR PAIN!  And they said that after I recover fully from it I can go home, so I'm looking at Saturday or Sunday for going home! Me and my best friend are so excited for me being home! I did some PFTs yesterday that I completely celebrated after! My FVC was 74% and my FEV1 was 58% the highest I have ever been since I can remember! When I called my mom to tell her she was so happy and she put me on speaker phone so the ladies that she works with could hear to and they were shouting and congratulating me! I feel a lot better, like I can almost breath deeper and it feels like my lungs are just more open! Sadly on a more down note, they had to re-access my port today but they couldn't get it to draw back blood! They ended up repoking it 5 times then they finally got blood! It hurt like hell! I don't how much longer it's gonna last because I have had it for almost five years now with no problems and the same port! I hope everyone else is doing great! With love, Megan!
