I chose the green happy face because it looks hopeful.  Really, I don't know how I'm feeling.  Maybe I'm numb.  Or in shock. My husband skipped school and used cocaine again this morning.  The drug dealer forced my husband to drive him around the city for hours so he could accomplish all of his drug deals, and then he almost made off with his engagement and wedding rings.  Funny thing is, I called my husband to check on him during this time period, and he claimed he was meeting with his mentor from AA.Our friend, who happens to be a therapist and a recovered coke addict, helped him drive home tonight, and she told us we should consider in-patient treatment.  My husband is scared about quitting school.  He just started an all-expenses paid, accelerated professional education program, and if he quits, he (or his spouse) owes his employer about $6,000 for the semester. My mother is in our house because she has been taking care of me following tonsil surgery for the past week.  She has no idea that my husband has any kind of substance abuse issue.  I asked her to leave, because I really am feeling better and I told her that my husband and I need some time alone, and she got upset.  She says it's going to take her a long time to pack up.  Meanwhile, my husband is in our condo parking lot talking to our friend.  I'm here just trying to feel hopeful.
