i think i am in awe of myself. how arrogant is that lol. it is almost 1 year i have been sober and a year ago i never would have guessed i could do this. physically i am doing well. mentally i am still struggling. thing is i dont think it is the sobriety i am struggling with, it's life. coping. changing. i am trying to be a new me, find myself at 47. go figure!!! guess it's time to grow up. the things i am interested in i should have done in my 20's like i had wanted to. well screw it right. i will jump into my creativity now and pick up where i left off before alcoholism took me away. shouldnt i be happy?

It only will get better.

That is awesome, Dee!! I am really pround of you and happy for you. Hopefully, you (all of us, too) will keep trying to make your life better and do things you have always wanted to but haven\'t yet no matter what age you are. Look at all of the years you have ahead of you to enjoy doing them. :) Susan
