Today was a bit of a reprieve...much better than the last 2. Im trying to turn it over and just let go of the fear that creates my blocks.
My son was invited to play atone of his friends house today so that was a HUGE help for me. I had a busy day at work..and then I had to go the DMV to renew my driver's license which expires ..oh..in 2 days. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. It got me thinking about how I have a terrible habit of doing that to the somewhat important things in life and I really need to focus on that. Why is it that I can get the little stuff knocked out of the way..but the big things I wait on? I dont understand it, bt I need to fix that. Im a work in progress, what can I say. Anyways... 2 HOURS at the DMV....crazy.
Jax had a good time with his buddy today and tomorrow I have the day off. It will be nice not to have to be anywhere and get some things done around the house.
I just finished packing up a HUGE box to send overseas to Jay. Hahahah 200 freeze pops to share with the guys...(they cant get enough of those there..and as the desert is 130 degrees wherehe is right now, I dont blame them) Red, white and blue gummy bears, new squishy gel insoles for his boots, magazine, snacks and some other random stuff. I certainly got my monies worth out of the flat rate boxes. I wanted to get it there for the 4th of July, but he said still had a stash of snacks and things. I wrapped everything in red white and blue and there is star confetti everywhere, but I always have to have something festive in there.
Is it terrible that I feel a sense of relief in having tomorrow off? Part of me feels bad..the rest doesnt. Ugh.... Im just ready for the weekend.
Think I will take Jax to the lake tonight for a night time swim. And maybe tomorrow too. This pasty whte girl needs some color in her skin. Maybe if I glow on the outside it will seep inward?
